Our History

Dave Jones Sr., married Roseanna Scott in 1891 and to this union three sons and two daughters were born- Jesse, Dave Jr, Eva, Earline, and Henry. 

Jesse Jones married Louisa Mitchell and together they had 17 children- Florence, Emma, Jesse Jr., Edward, James, Rowina, Ruth, Bernice, Lubertha, Wesley, Clara, Clarence, Louis, Alton, Alma, Elizabeth, and Elmira.

Dave Jones Jr married Josie Alberdia Hite and together they had 12 children- Cinderella, Rose Eleanor, Permilla, George, Estelle, Levi, Edward, Mildred, Alberdia, Ernest, Olevia, Christeener, and Isreal. 

Eva and Earline did not have any children. 

Henry Jones married Clara Holloway and together they had 16 children- Henry Jr., James, Florida, Flora, Mark, Rebecca, Earline, Clifton, Betty Lee, Augustus, Paul, Chester, Samuel, Dorothy Mae, Ethel Lee, and Annabelle.

We have learned that Dave Jones Sr had at least seven siblings- Henry, Maria, Agnest, Anastasie, Annie S., George and Edward. We have learned that Roseanna Scott had at least five half-siblings-Claira, Wayman, Ravele, Lulu and Mamie, all with the surname Johnson. We continue to research and learn more about the many branches of our very large and extensive family connections.
